Product description
Ponstan contains Mefenamic acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It relieves from pain of different kinds such as arthritis, muscle and joints pain, menstrual pain, migraine, toothache and post-operative pain. It also reduces fever and treats menorrhagia.
Indications
It is indicated in:
Relieving from arthritis, pains of muscle and joints, migraine, toothache and post-operative pain
Relieving from menstrual pain
Relieving from menorrhagia
Reducing fever.
Instructions for use
Always read the leaflet or consult the doctor or pharmacist before use.
Adults and children over 14 years old: It is recommended to take 1 tablet, 3 times a day after meals.
For menstrual pain and menorrhagia the first dose should be taken at the beginning of signs.
Warning
DO NOT use this medicine if you:
Are allergic or have shown hypersensitivity to Mefenamic acid or to any of the ingredients.
Suffer from peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding
Are allergic to Acetylsalycilic acid or to any other NSAIDs
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Are taking other anti-inflammatory drugs
Suffer from renal and hepatic diseases or have epilepsy.
