Agelmin contains cetirizine which is part of the group of antihistamines and acts by inhibiting the effects of histamine in the body. It is used to treat cold or allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching, watery eyes or runny nose. Agelmin is also used to treat itching and swelling caused by chronic urticaria (urticaria).
Indications
It is indicated:
for the relief of symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and allergies such as dust or pet allergies (perennial allergic rhinitis), such as sneezing, itchy, runny and blocked nose, itchy, red and watery eyes.
for the relief of swelling, redness and itchiness of the skin (symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Instructions for use

The tablets need to be swallowed with a glass of liquid.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10mg once daily (1 tablet)
Children aged from 6 to 12 years: 5mg twice daily (a half tablet twice daily).
