Product description

Apotel is a syrup for babies and children with cherry flavour. The syrup contain paracetamol which has analgesic and antipyretic properties similar to those of acetylsalicylic acid. It is administrated in mild or moderete painful conditions and to relief from fever. The absorption of the paracetamol is rapid and complete. Also it is suitable for adults.

 

Instructions for use

Adults and children over the age of 12 years old: 0.5- 1 gr, every 4-6 hours. 

Children 6-12 years old: 250-500 mg or 10-15 mg/kg of body weight, 3-4 times per day.

Children 1-5 years old: 120-250 mg or 10-15 mg/kg of body weight, 3-4 times per day.

Infants 3-12 months: 60-120 mg or 10-15 mg/kg of body weight, 3-4 times per day.

 

Warning

DO NOT exceed the recommended daily dose.

 

Precaution:

Consult with your doctor if:

You have liver or renal function impairment

You are pregnant or breast- feeding

You are taking other medication (Cholestyramine, metoclopramide, domperidone, hepatic enzyme inducers such as: phenobarbital, medicines with hepatotoxic action eg; NSAID, barbiturics, tricyclic antidepressants, alcohol, probecenid, oral anticoagulants, lamotrigine, antiepileptic or oral steriod contraceptives).
