Anti-Parvovirus B19 IgM Abs. test is an ELISA-based, automated, in-vitro test system for the quantitative determination of IgM antibodies against Parvovirus B19 in human serum or plasma. Anti-Parvovirus B19 IgM Abs. (ORG 912MX) specifically detects IgM antibodies against the viral capsid protein VP2. This allows for specific detection of IgM antibodies in the acute phase just after initial exposure to the virus, indicating a fresh infection.
