Anti-SLA
Anti-Scl-70 is an ELISA-based, automated, in-vitro test system for the quantitative determination of IgG antibodies against Scl-70 (DNA topoisomerase I) in human serum or plasma.
With a specificity near 100 %, these antibodies are an accepted and highly specific marker for progressive systemic scleroderma; autoantibodies against topoisomerase I are extremely rare in both healthy individuals and those with non-autoimmune diseases. In addition to the serological diagnosis of systemic scleroderma, ORGENTEC’s Anti-Sci-70 test is also useful in the differential diagnosis of Raynaud’s phenomenon. Autoantibodies against topoisomerase I are also a prognostic marker for the further development of systemic sclerosis.
