Properties:
Dermodrin belongs to a class of medicines called topical antihistamines and is an ointment that works against the manifestations of allergies due to the discharge of histamine (antihistamine) such as: redness, itchy skin and pain. Additionally reduces or prevents the appearance of skin swellings due to allergies. Dermodrin ointment acts as an oil-in-water emulsion and has a cooling effect, thus increasing the pain-relieving effect. The effect is felt shortly after the application of the ointment and persists for 2 to 6 hours.
Indications:
It is indicated in the treatment of pruritus (itchy skin), local pain and hypersensitivity reactions (excessive or abnormal immune response of the body, allergic) in case:
- dermatological diseases with allergic component;
- insect bites.
Composition:
Diphenhydramine hydrochloride, peanut oil, white wax, cetyl alcohol, solid paraffin, white Vaseline, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (0.15% w / w), glycerol, hostacerin T-3, polysorbate 80, isobornyl acetate, hydroxide sodium, purified water.
Administration method:
Unless otherwise recommended by your doctor, apply 1 to 3 g of Dermodrin ointment (cherry size to the size of a walnut) on the affected area of skin.
Adults repeat this application 4 to 6 times a day.
Children: a maximum of 4-5 applications per day are recommended.
If the situation does not improve after 2 weeks of continuous treatment, you should consult your doctor.
