Bacterial plaque is formed from a heterogeneous accumulation of bacteria immersed in an adhesive matrix, which bonds tenaciously to the surface of the teeth and prosthetic materials.

Chlorhexidine
It counteracts the formation of plaque both by reducing the development of bacteria and by binding to the matrix of the plaque preventing its development and breaking it down.
It acts promptly and has high retention in the oral cavity.

Sodium fluorine
It has a remineralizing and anti-demineralizing action on the dental enamel.
It determines the formation of fluorapatite which is deposited on the tooth surface and increases the structural resistance to caries.
It inhibits the glycolytic enzymes of bacteria, acting in synergy with chlorhexidine, allowing the use of the two substances at low concentrations.
Xylitol
A natural acaryogenic sweetener. It does not change the pH of the plaque and performs anticary activities.
Anti Discoloration System
Contained in all Curasept mouthwashes, it interferes with two of the main mechanisms of pigmentation and helps to decrease its incidence and extent.
In fact, the external coloring of the teeth would occur after prolonged use of chlorhexidine-based solutions without A.D.S.
