Do not use / give your child Tantum Verde:
If you / your child are allergic to benzidamine or any of the other ingredients
Careful! In particular, tell your doctor:
If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory medications;
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medication. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, use Tantum Verde only after consulting your doctor and evaluating your risk / benefit ratio.
Use Tantum Verde only for short periods of treatment. If after 3 days of treatment you / your child will not feel better, consult your doctor or dentist as needed. Consult your doctor if the discomfort occurs repeatedly or if you have noticed any recent changes in its characteristics.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following side effects may occur with the use of Tantum Verde:
Uncommon (can affect up to 1 in 100 people):
Photosensitivity (skin sensitivity to light);
Rare (can affect up to 1 in 1000 people):
Hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reaction)
Burnt and dry mouth.
Very rare (can affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):
Laryngospasm (difficulty breathing)
Angioedema (sudden swelling of the mouth / throat and mucosa that causes difficulty swallowing and / or breathing)
