KLOROBEN contains chlorhexidine gluconate and benzydamine HCl.
Chlorhexidine inactivates microorganisms with a broader spectrum than antibiotics and has a quicker kill rate than other antimicrobials (e.g. povidone-iodine).
Benzydamine exerts an anti-inflamatory and analgesic action by stabilizing the cellular membrane and inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
Indications
It is indicated:
Inflammation in the mouth and throat mucosa and gingivitis with pain, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, mouth sores and mucositis during chemotherapy.
Prevention of microbial diseases in the mouth and throat.
Before and after oral interventions.
Prevention of dental plaque.
Instructions for use
KLOROBEN is administered directly on the in inflamed area before or after meals.
The mouth must be open widely, and the spray must be administered into the oral cavity, by inserting the nozzle of the spray in the mouth. This must be repeated at least 4 times in various areas.
Solution should be kept in mouth for at least 1 minute.
Always read the leaflet or label of the product before use.
Dosage:
In children above the age of 6: 5 spray and it can be repeated every 1,5-3 hours.
Adults: 5-10 spray and it can be repeated every 1,5-3 hours.
